Laura Lucas, Ed. S.

CEO | President

Laura Lucas is an educational leader with over 31 years of experience, dedicated to helping children thrive. Her extensive roles include Special Education Teacher, Department Chair, and Director of Special Education, as well as Director of Title I Services. Laura advocates for students with special needs and leads professional development for educators on IEPs and behavior plans. She engages parents in the educational process and trains paraprofessionals to support teachers and students effectively. Laura holds multiple degrees, including a B.S. in Education, an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, and an M.Ed. in Special Education. Her passion focuses on ensuring success for students with special needs.

Heather Tanner, M.Ed.

Vice President

Heather Tanner, M.Ed., is an experienced educator and child advocate with 24 years in the field. She specializes in meeting individual student needs and holds a Bachelor's in Special Education and a Master's degree. As a Certified Georgia Educator, she has taught K-12, worked as an Early Interventionist, and supported students with Autism as an ABA Therapist. With a Teacher Support Specialist Endorsement, she focuses on coaching educators. Heather is eager to contribute her expertise to Elite Educational Foundation, assisting families in need.

Jeanette Justiniano

Secretary

Jeanette Justiniano is a dedicated and passionate educational and administrative professional with over 35 years of experience serving and supporting students and parents. She has built strong bridges between multicultural communities and school administrations by fostering trust and compassion. Jeanette has served in various roles, including Parent Outreach Facilitator for Title I Schools, Bilingual Parent Liaison, Bilingual Administrative Assistant in Special Education and Pupil Personnel Services, and Bilingual (Spanish) Interpreter. Her commitment to connecting families and schools has made a lasting impact in the communities she serves.
